Forage Fish

In this work, I wanted to illustrate the ecological importance of Salish Sea forage fish. The cormorant that feeds on them, the kelp forests that they live in, and the phytoplankton that they eat.

Working with the Salish Sea Institute, I illustrated biologically accurate native Pacific Northwest forage fish with graphite.
